The Youngest IPS Officer-22 Year Old – Safin Hasan
The youngest IPS officer of Gujarat has proved that nothing is impossible in this world and you’ll be able to defeat any kind of hardship. His home has been bereft of any facility. His mother wrapped bread (rotis) for restaurantsand marriage halls to make the ends meet. He met with injury only days before his Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) exam. The conditions were rough and there have been hurdles all around.
But the 22-year-old Hasan Safin was decided that nothing will prevent him from fulfilling his dreams. In his youth, there were times when Safin went to sleep empty tummy because of non-availability of food
As per a report in Times of India, Safin says he will appear for the UPSC examination next year to increase his position to become an IAS officer.
Speaking about his inspiration,” Safin, a native of Kanodar village at Palanpur area of Gujarat, remembered a visit by Collector to his village. This was when I requested a village on the best way to become an officer . He said anybody can become a officer with hard work and enthusiasm. And from this moment I have the assignment of my own life,” the report lent Safin as saying.
Safin’s parents after worked in Surat’s pearl unit. But when they were outside occupation due to recession in the business, they resorted to odd tasks like creating breads (rotis) for restaurants and even marriage halls to run the home and fund Safin’s schooling. His dad opened a tea stall to encourage the household income.
Safin was a smart pupil from his youth. A school leader in Palanpur waived his Rs 80,000 commission in class 11 and 12 after viewing his excellent academic record.
